Firstly, thank you for all of the work you do to inform us all. I know it's lots of work. I know this post is old, but people on the Mother's AG Abbott page are asking about their local candidates, who they are so they can support them. Would you think about updating this story to show who won the primary races/runoffs? They are actually asking for data driven info about candidates so this article is perfect. Would like to spread up to date info far and wide.
I'm still optimistic about the TCDP, although I know you aren't. But I do agree with you that they need to wrap more of their messaging around combating Christion Nationalism.
for u candidates and campaigns from a guy who does door to door canvasing:
" For example, canvassing was how we learned that the term “Reproductive Freedom” was more appealing to voters in Ohio and Kansas. “Reproductive Rights” not as attention grabbing there. The language of the coasts didn’t work as well in the heartland. And it was the concept of Freedom that really allowed Democratic and Republican women to unite in amending their state constitutions"
and "Language matters, but the language of the voters, not the interpreters." DK
they are always at it....i am sure there is a paywall free story available...
this headline from Startle -Gram: "
"Do these 2 Tarrant school districts block the election of Black, Hispanic board members?
A Dallas law firm says these two districts may be the subject of lawsuits over voting rights."
Arlington ISD and Eagle Mountain-Sginaw ISD
OMG
I have argued long and loud that Medicaid Expansion is a winning issue......making us as progessive as Oklahoma and Louisiana.
It actualy helps rural Texans who see hospitals closing.
I agree. We're long past time of needing Medicaid expanded.
Remember: Vote early, vote often, just vote.

I would love to see these districts highlighted on a map. I understand it's more work & time.
I'll try for a map next time.
