Texas is ready for a progressive transformation, and the Lone Star Left (me) is teaming up with Texas Resistance Rising, Daniel J. Cohen, and the Courageous Chachalaca to bring you the Lone Star Left Playbook. This powerful coalition of grassroots activists, democracy advocates, and political disruptors is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Texans and driving positive political change in the Lone Star State.
Powering the Movement is Daniel Cohen, founder of Indivisible Houston and a fervent advocate for democracy, alongside the Courageous Chachalaca, a passionate South Texas activist from the vibrant Rio Grande Valley. Collaborating with them is Texas Resistance Rising, a dedicated citizen in the DFW area, committed to shining a light on oppressive tactics and mobilizing the community for transformative change, and of course, me, who you already know.
Over the last month, the four of us have been working on a game plan to form a formidable force with a mission of each doing our part to flip this great big state.
The Lone Star Left Playbook serves a vital purpose: to disseminate information about the pressing issues facing Texas and highlight the grassroots organizations tirelessly fighting against them. With a keen focus on House districts that can be flipped within the next two election cycles, this playbook is a strategic roadmap to a more inclusive and progressive Texas.
Our aim is to support the groups on the ground, empowering them to build a sustainable democratic infrastructure that works in synergy with the Democratic Party. We understand that flipping the state requires widespread dissemination of political information, and that's precisely what the Lone Star Left Playbook aims to deliver.
Followers can expect an array of content about Texas politics from the people on the ground doing the work in North Texas, South Texas, and the Greater Houston area. Alongside our new friends, we will showcase the villains we face in Texas, shed light on critical issues, and present viable solutions. Together, we will rise above challenges, stand shoulder to shoulder, and demonstrate that we are all in this fight for a brighter future.
Rest assured. You will still see the familiar stream of political content from me. However, with the addition of three new friends to our ranks, we are poised to expand our horizons and embrace a wealth of fresh perspectives—because facts have a liberal bias.
