What really gets to me is the way the Rs push religion and make themselves the arbiter of morality, yet they lie, cheat, commit adultery, and run roughshod over people's inherent God given rights. It's not even gaslighting or projection...it's like some bizarre alternate reality. They have no shame. If we don't realize soon that we're in a 5 alarm fire and it's going to take every single person who cares about democracy to get involved to put out the fire.
It's definitely an alternative reality, it's Idiocracy (best movie ever). But, if we look at how fascist movements rise throughout history, they're following the playbook step-by-step.
