Allred getting pounded...his response ...soft focus homilies on family and bi-partisanship. i personally am sick of them and who drags their kids into the campaign anyway?

this wimping out will cots him 2+ pts and an otherwise winnable election. All that pro-choice energy squandered.

imagine all the things you could throw at cruz and allred is all kum-ba-ya........does he not realize he is in Texas?

goodbye Senate majority.

remember this campaign if we don't hold the senate ..that was elimination of the filibuster and national pro-choice legislation and juridical appointments ......all up in smoke cause Colin thinks some R will swoon at the opportunity of comity. Colin, if they wanted that they could have left the R party anytime.

And they didn't .

Jeez.....Allred had a lot of piss and vinegar in him last nite....relieved to see it.....begs the question as to why

why is his advertising campaign is so wussy AND alot more people will see his TV adds than watched the debate so i am not sure it helped much...........Allred likely squandered 1 or 2% of the votes being a casper milktoast campaigner.

i don't wish for its demise but its crazy to think FWST slanted right in a purple town for the sake of 27,000 readers, 1/2 of which might be D's.

i would guess their editorial decisions were slanted for advertisers and not a RW readership.

FWR: "The Star-Telegram, created in 1909 through the merger of two Fort Worth newspapers, the Fort Worth Star and the Fort Worth Telegram, has chronicled the city’s happenings for more than a century. Subscriptions have dropped from a peak of about 350,000 for the Sunday edition during the 1990s to about 27,000 in print and online in 2024, according to a publisher’s statement printed in the newspaper in August. In a city of about 1 million people and a county of 2.2 million, the paper’s print press run of 13,000 is expected to fall even further with the shift from six to three days.

I used to get political emails from Van Duyne. God knows why; I have certainly never been registered as a Republican. I sent back snotty responses telling her to keep her paws off women’s rights and every other crazy, batsh*t cause she promoted and asked her to take me off her mailing list. She (or whatever minions were sending out these emails on her behalf) wasn’t getting the memo, so I finally had to block her so her stuff would go straight to my spam folder.

That woman is evil personified. She’s almost 54 and likely menopausal or even past that, but I honestly have to ask myself what she would do if her precious daughter (also super pro-life) ended up having a miscarriage that was life-threatening. I bet she’d be on the first plane out of this state or treated by a doctor who was guaranteed special “immunity” from current Texas abortion law.
