The 88th Legislature is Coming

Hi everyone. I know you haven’t seen a newsletter from Living Blue in months. Yes, we’ve been awful at keeping up with it. That’s why we’ve moved our newsletters to substack, and with the 88th Legislature on the horizon, we promise to do better.
We made it through the 2022 mid-term elections, and while it seems like we suffered a huge loss, the truth is that we just weren’t able to move the needle this time.
The Anti-Awards will be back for the 88th Lege. If you remember, Bryan Slaton was crowned the Anti-King in the last session. While we expect Slaton to have another embarrassingly terrible year, he has a lot of competition from some of the new Republican freshmen.
This upcoming legislative session is going to be hard for a lot of Texans as the GOP is poised to once again attack our liberties and freedoms. But don’t worry, Living Blue TX will be right there with you. We’re in it together.
