I hope to write something less than 200 words a few times a week and send it to my elected officials as well as Texas newspapers as letters to the editor. I do feel that is a place we can reach outside our "like minds." I've had good luck getting letters published in the DALLAS MORNING NEWS. I keep them short, factual, and avoid too much of a partisan sound--I actually try to stick to the issue and not mention parties. Again, that's just worked better for me in getting them published. I've compiled a list of Texas newspapers and where these letters can be sent, which I will share here in case anyone is interested: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F1IZYgfw096r7IEegVzaiUMSKlIl0PPZ6vj88Go4Mrc/edit?usp=sharing
