The future of Texas Public Education is at stake this November and we are disappointed that Rosie Cuellar has chosen to be a petty loser. Texas Children’s in HD80, majority who are Hispanic, go to public schools in a district who that impacted by gun violence. We expected children to come first. We endorsed Rosie in the Primary, but she lost. We later endorsed Cecilia Castellano who is a very kind religious person. Castellano’s campaign was targeted by Ken Paxton and in the articles about this, you will see it that it was brought to his attention by Castellano’s primary opponent. Rosie Cuellar is that opponent. They are going after Cecilia’s campaign mgr Manuel Media, who has been an amazing organizer and leader for Tejano Democrats and Lulac. It was a targeted attack to put Latinos in their place and keep them from voting. It’s disappointing to see the other Latinos play into these attacks on fellow Democratic Latinos. There is a saying that Democrats eat their own, and this shit needs to fucking stop. We expected better from Rosie, but when people show you who they are believe them. Texas Latino children will pay the price for her actions. Don’t forget this next time she runs for office. Vote for Cecilia Castellano and help save pubic education in Texas.
