In 1492, Christopher Columbus inflicted violence, exploitation, and destruction on the Indigenous people of the Caribbean. This is why Governor Abbott's special session agenda is so shocking.

when the reality sets in, likely after SCOTUS review that Texans property taxes are going to Catholic Schools and Muslims Academys , you will see a revolt......i am pre-postioning with an aethistic pagan prep school...Alibaba Prep......funded in part by FTW homeowners............
I have a simple thought experiment about someone or a group's morals and ethics: If you could place a person or some group in 1920's-1940's Germany, what would that person or group do? If you can answer that question very easily about certain individuals (Abbott, Paxton, Patrick, the Texas GOP, etc.), then you know EVERYTHING about them and how to regard them going forward.

he will likely run out of runway.........shutting out small districts so ken copeland can run a network of christian acemdemy's? it won't fly in most small towns cause they got their own weird ass church and no one is going to send lil missy 150 mi away to a 'choice ' school in the closest reasonabled size city. And when the Pope, btw Baltimore Child Absue Scandal still rocking, tries to get a bite of that apple i can only imagine the hue and cry......I would envisage our AG invoking seperation of church and state to save us from the Papists....

No, but some of my parents are Episcopalian. I don't do labels, I'm spiritual.

Yeah. There's no question where the Texas GOP will stand, and as Texas is increasingly less white, they've only gotten worse.

Yeah, I'm 50/50 on whether or not vouchers will pass. Enough House Reps are against it, but the question is, will some flip under pressure?
