When I worked for DPS as a radio operator, we had to go to Austin every 6 months for schools. Some troopers I knew had moved to George W's governor detail team. They had invited me to come to the governor's mansion for BBQ, so I went. It was nice. I hope one day I can tell the rest of the story. I can't even really tell it to myself.
