I figured that over the course of 30 years our firm benefited directly or indirectly from govt. spending to the tune of about 20% of sales a year. Some years more.
When the hammerheads started yammering about the deficit, et al I simply asked what part of their lifestyle they wanted to part within to insure fiscal frugality.
MMMT, currently the rage in many quarters, posits that deficits don't matter as long as govt spending is spent on things that create jobs....Most of u remember the deficit 'scare'. Its been going on since Reagan and interest rates are once again lowering and unemployment is too. So deficits matter , like trickle down, is disproven for the umpteenth time.
It was never about the hazards of govt. spending.
Musk has a new spin and he may not hate 'us' like ur upper middle class R's have traditionally done. I suspect he is just nuts and wreckless.

Idk. Historically these areas have lower turnout. Maybe they won’t show up on Election Day. We’ll have to wait and see.
