I fucking like telathons too. 😁

I'm in Tennessee......I've seen only a handful of tRump signs around where I live. Far less than I anticipated. Nearly non-existant given the 85,000 people in my area. I see 2 massive signs on way to/from work, so naturally I cuss them out and send them bad vibes as I drive by.

I really don't think Trump is as popular as he once was.

I was really distressed to read there are 8.5M of us in DFW...really it only feels like 5m ......i gotta get out of here.......

your point is well taken....i have seen no political activity whatsoever............2020 some O&G typhoons and other lunatics made a big Trump splash in the NH and lots of other Big Trump signs were prominent.......now 0 ....that's zero ...I haven't seen 3 Trump yard signs in the Zipcode.

I do want to say this,,,,,and i hope you report about it after Tuesday..........if Cruz wins by only a few thousand votes you can absolutely blame this on the ineptitude and incompetence of the Tarrant County Democratic Party , doing next to nothing.

This is exemplified by Tarrat GOP calling their own Chair to quit over his remarks but you can find NO TARRANT DEM on record anywhere criticizing his outlandish and incorrect and inciteful statements over the last year.

If Cruz is a squeaker I pray to Kinky Friedman that Dallas, Harris, Bexar , Travis County Dems dig just a little deeper.

Thank you, thank you. I'm not on pins and needles as your reporting today has me more positive. Hubby and I are voting after he gets off work today. Wonder how many more people will vote before 9:00pm.

It looks like today will wind up being another high turnout day, from what I'm seeing so far. We'll know soon enough.

I stood in line 1.5 hours to vote in Dallas County. I agree that today will be a high turnout.

Helpful info, Michelle. Thx. I'm a precinct chair in far south Travis county. Will be out blockwalking again today. A friend here personally registered more than 500 new voters over the past year. A note: Even in this 70% blue precinct, half of the people I've offered signs to have expressed concern about putting them out because they fear for the safety of their property or themselves. Stochastic terrorism has an effect.

Wow. That's sad.

a sweet letter to TCDP leadership in these closing hours:

Neveah Crain?

I simply asked TCDP leadership  to contact FWST to demand this story gets the coverage it deserves.

S.Lavoone has how many Pct. Cap'ts she can ask to email Steve Coffman at FWST? I gave her the contact info.

How many folks can 26 TCDP EC elites ask to do the same?

It will take about 30 seconds, maybe a minute.....

And what about a "special: Dispatch

If you're a Tarrant D and have a daily that isn't , where might u expect to read about Neveah Crain? In the TCDispatch in ur inbox or on the home page.? So far blank space.

Come one gang, I am sure u have it in u!

Bo French at Tarrant R's wouldn't hesitate a minute.

I'll add that, from where I sit in my little corner of the state, we ARE making progress. Key will be to keep going after this election, no matter the outcome. A huge challenge is that people are extremely difficult to reach. You'd think that the party would have good email addresses and phone #s for everyone that leans our way. Not true. So building those lists -- and even more importantly -- cultivating those relationships is key. I notice from the WaPo opinion piece that the Biden / Harris campaign started building their ground game in January in North Carolina with "360 paid staff members, with 29 field offices statewide, operating with a network of satellite offices in homes and businesses." My bet is that's going to make a difference in NC. Same thing happens in WI. We need that here. It'll take reliable monthly donations to the party and/or organizing groups such as Texas Blue Action, where I'm a member. If Texas blue voters will learn to "lose better" as Stacey Abrams says, and celebrate every bit of progress, we can get there, just as GA has, and WI, and now likely NC. Thx for coming to my Ted talk! :)

Chris Hayes covered this story. Beyond, BEYOND heartbreaking. That poor girl suffered and died needlessly. This is why OB/GYNs are leaving the state.

read my post in this thread to my party leadership. Our local paper , Fort Worth Star Telegram hasn't coverd this most relevant news story to 2024 yet. They went to 3 days a week so we are now a news desert so if ur not searching out the news ur not getting any. Perfect place for county party to fill the void . TCDP just this month started a weekly newsletter.........i repeat THIS month and they haven't mention Neavah yet.

in 2024 , not one yard sign in the NH...so between reduced news, and no communications what so ever from the county party and any candidates i feel there is no D campaign whatsoever.......

Nov. 6 we need to be building and agitating and politicking for Medicaid Expansion, something Oklahoma has......pardon my pessimism but i get the sense the state party can't organize a popcorn fart.

I live in west Arlington. There are a few Harris/Walz signs up(including in my yard) but I haven't seen any Trump signs or anyone wearing a MAGA hat or anything. My husband was at Kroger and said an old lady came up to him and told him "Good choice" about the Harris/Walz pin on his bag.
