to understand that apathy . from Salon; "The New York Times wants Biden gone — but they seem OK with a convicted felon"

.......i argue Biden is a great New Deal Dem....but he can't get credit cause every news and opinion outlet is chasing clicks, not looking to inform the citizenry. So we see failure at every turn. What does get thru is SCOTUS and global warming, things we feel we have no control over. Meaning we see institutions doing bad things or ignoring the waiting doomsday

i have heard all the hand wring by us....however from cooler heads : Lichtman says nothing has changed......Stevenson: "One moment in June doesn't mean anything , Biden will win."

Lots of Dem have passion and have succumbed to their disappointment overly emotionally ....voters hardly noticed Biden's terrible performance and noted Trump is still lying.

nowhere will u see this reported in any paper, big or small, blog or podcast....there is no clicks in 'nothing changed Thursday nite"

Biden is not a blithering old man...here is the truth about Thursday

"Whoever prepped Biden for the debate should be fired. They overstuffed him with information he couldn’t get out of his mouth while Trump ignored the facts and shouted horrendous lies. All Biden had to do, in answering anything Trump said was respond, “My opponent is a convicted felon. I think it’s abhorrent that he's even here.” He never did that. Politically, Biden brought a stiletto and Trump brought a sawed-off shotgun. "

From FWST Sunday opinion.....to LSL readers we are the county that R's call the biggest MAGA county in the USA..

"Daddy died a MAGA. His last words were apologies for how his Trumpism hurt our family | Opinion"

https://www.star-telegram.com/opinion/article289588568.html

otherwise the same weak comments on Biden....which they were saying before the debate....meaning ...the debate has not much resonance for FTW voters one way or the other

I'm not apathetic at all. This election is a moment of truth for us as individuals and as a nation. One critical items for those of us who are awake is to engage effectively with enough people who are not to vote as if they're lives depend on it....because it does.

this is why i am apathetic...not a single ass state pol will put this on their website and fwd. it out to supporters or call a local radio or TV and demand to comment...nor offer one editorial in one local paper

issue D... messaging R.......race goes to the R

(Reuters) -A federal judge in Texas on Friday temporarily blocked a Biden administration rule from taking effect that would extend mandatory overtime pay to 4 million salaried U.S. workers.

its the public policy..stupid

why us Texicans live lives that are “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.”-Hobbes

.....unless you’re in the Deep South or the sprawling region I call Greater Appalachia, a region that stretches from southwestern Pennsylvania to the Ozarks and the Hill Country of Texas. Those two regions — which include all or parts of 16 deep red states and a majority of the House Republican caucus — have a life expectancy of 77, more than four and a half years lower than on the blue-leaning Pacific coastal plain. In the smaller, redder regional culture of New France (in southern Louisiana) the gap is just short of six years. So large are the regional gaps that the poorest set of counties in predominantly blue Yankee Northeast actually have higher life expectancies than the wealthiest ones in the Deep South. At a population level, a difference of five years is like the gap separating the U.S. from decidedly unwealthy Mongolia, Belarus or Libya, and six years gets you to impoverished El Salvador and Egypt.

I have a reason to be apathetic and i am ...i didn't vote in the primary cause no one ran a campaign...for any office in my district.......but here is more...since our county party is useless at engaging the 500k of us...maybe the nuts and bolts of running elections? Of that I haven't heard a peep either.

'While the practice of recruiting poll watchers is legal, election integrity experts say the Republican Party's efforts to place partisan poll watchers in Democratic-heavy suburbs could potentially be seen as "voter intimidation."- RS
